Creators - Trade Optimizations

Our Team has been working on improving the Wescover Marketplace to be more accessible and user-friendly for Trade members. We're expanding our filtering capabilities to make it easier for Trade members to find Creators to work with. Please find recommendations that are beneficial for the Trade below -

  1. Item Availability

    1. Production lead time can be provided for both 'Buy-now' & 'Inquire to buy' listings

    2. Both in-stock & made-to-order listings can be enabled for 'Buy-now'. Please be sure to provide accurate production + shipping lead times to better help manage buyer expectations!

    3. Production Lead Time -

      1. 'Buy-now' =

        1. Process:

          1. Go to your Edit Page

          2. Scroll down to the item you'd like to update and click the Edit button hovering over the item

          3. Scroll down to the Product Selling Details section --> Click 'Edit Details'

          4. Scroll down to the Estimated Production Time section:

          5. **If your item is in-stock and ready to ship, put '0-0'

          6. Otherwise, please provide a time range that accurately reflects your typical production lead time

      2. 'Inquire to Buy' =

        1. Process:

          1. Go to your Edit Page

          2. Scroll down to the item you'd like to update and click the Edit button hovering over the item

          3. Scroll down to the How can someone purchase this item or a similar item? section

          4. In the dropdown menu, select 'Only via inquiry/commission'

          5. Scroll down to Estimated Production Time (optional) to provide an accurate production lead time

    4. Shipping Lead Time -

      1. Process:

        1. Go to your Edit Page

        2. Scroll down to the item you'd like to update and click the Edit button hovering over the item

        3. Scroll down to the Product Selling Details section --> Click 'Edit Details'

        4. Scroll down to the Shipping Details section

        5. Input accurate values for Estimated delivery/transit time:

  2. Customization & Commissions

    1. You can indicate that you're open to customizations and commissions in general OR that you're only open to customizations and commissions for certain pieces of work

    2. Process 1 (General customizations/commissions):

      1. Go to the your Edit Page

      2. Scroll down to How to Work With Me

      3. Select 'I do commission/custom work'

    3. Process 2 (Customizations/commissions only for specific items):

      1. Go to the your Edit Page

      2. Scroll down to the item you'd like to update and click the Edit button hovering over the item

      3. Scroll down to the Product Selling Details section --> Click 'Edit Details'

  3. Item Dimensions

    1. Dimensions should reflect each item when fully assembled. If you'd like to include the packaged dimensions, please do so in the Item Description.

    2. Process:

      1. Go to your Edit Page

      2. Scroll down to the item you'd like to update and click the Edit button hovering over the item

      3. Scroll down to the Product Selling Details section --> Click 'Edit Details'

      4. Scroll down to the Dimensions & Weight section to provide your item's measurements
